After much exploration in the bathtub,
Roman officially has found his penis!
I know, I know... I'm not sure this is appropriate blog material, but he has been cracking me up the last week with his antics. Lately, I've been afraid he's really going to hurt himself with how hard he pulls. Joe refuses to even look when I give him the play by play. 
In other news, he's been playing with his sporty activity center and he absolutely loves it. He's been charged with goal tending and breaking the rim several times... and look at the bat in his left hand!!!!! 
He's also been enjoying his new found freedom of sitting up on his own and exploring more toys. This is his first experience with the Little People Farm. 
On Monday evening, Roman had his first taste of real food... meaning something other than pureed or baby food. We had a few pears that were very ripe and juicy and he enjoyed gnawing at it for quite some time.
Over the weekend, we had a serious heat wave come through. It was in the mid 30's!!!! Of course, we celebrated by playing outside.
Joe put together Ava's scooter she had gotten for Christmas and then decided to ride his own for awhile. Such a show off... 
Today it was back to reality... temps were in the teens and the wind chill was hovering just above zero. I took the day off of work and Ava and I had a "girl's day" while Roman was at daycare. We went to an indoor play center just a few miles from us called Family Fun Land. It was similar to Chuck E. Cheese but it was clean... and had a lot more climbing apparatuses for the kids to go on.
